How is Professional Services different from Customer Success?

Customer Success is included with every Dcycle subscription and covers onboarding, platform implementation and ongoing support. Professional Services are separate consulting engagements with a fixed scope, clear deliverables and a defined timeline. Think of CS as your co-pilot for the platform, and PS as the specialist you bring in for specific ESG projects like SBTi target-setting or a full Life Cycle Assessment.

How does the SBTi target-setting service work?

The engagement follows five phases: scoping and SBTi registration, additional Scope 3 measurement, target modelling with a decarbonization plan, verification support, and ongoing monitoring through the Dcycle platform. Our certified partner leads the technical work while Dcycle ensures all data stays connected to your reporting. The process typically takes 8 to 12 weeks from kick-off to SBTi submission.

What types of LCA services are available?

We offer two formats. LCA Essentials is collaborative: you work inside the platform with guidance from our consultant. LCA Fully Assisted is hands-off: the consultant handles methodology and calculations while you provide primary data and feedback. Both take 6 to 8 weeks. If you need a market-facing Environmental Product Declaration, we add EPD preparation, verification and registration on top of either format.

Can I combine multiple services in a single engagement?

Absolutely. Many clients start with SBTi target-setting and add a decarbonization plan, or pair an LCA with EPD certification. We scope each service independently so you can bundle what you need without paying for what you don't. Your dedicated project manager coordinates the full engagement.

How do Professional Services connect to the Dcycle platform?

Every engagement runs through the platform. Data collected during consulting projects feeds directly into your dashboards, reports and compliance workflows. When an SBTi engagement ends, for example, your targets and monitoring are already live in the platform, ready for annual tracking. Nothing gets lost in slide decks or spreadsheets.
