What Dcycle covers

Scope 1, 2 & 3 Across Facilities

Natural gas on the production line is Scope 1. Grid electricity is Scope 2. Raw materials, outsourced processes and outbound logistics — that's Scope 3, and it typically represents 70-80% of a manufacturer's footprint. Dcycle calculates all three automatically, per facility, per business unit, or at group level.

Multi-Site Consolidation

Five plants across three countries, each with different energy mixes, fuel types and production processes. Dcycle consolidates everything into a single source of truth — with full traceability from the individual meter reading to the corporate carbon footprint.

CSRD & ESRS Compliance

CSRD now applies to most large manufacturers in Europe — and is cascading to their supply chains. Dcycle automates double materiality assessments, maps your data to all relevant ESRS standards, and generates XBRL-compliant reports. Audit-ready, not audit-panic.

Environmental KPIs & Dashboards

Energy intensity per unit produced, waste diversion rates, water consumption per site, emission reduction progress against targets — Dcycle calculates and visualises the operational KPIs that manufacturing teams actually use. Customisable dashboards for plant managers, sustainability teams and the board.

Frequently asked questions

Why is manufacturing the most affected industrial sector by ESG regulation?
Manufacturing sits at the centre of global emissions — responsible for roughly 21% of global CO₂. In Europe, CSRD now requires large manufacturers to disclose environmental, social and governance data following ESRS standards. Supply chain regulations mean your clients are also asking for your data to calculate their own Scope 3. ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 certifications are increasingly required in procurement. EcoVadis scores influence supplier selection. For manufacturers, ESG has moved from corporate communications to the operations department.
How does Dcycle handle multi-site manufacturing operations?
Dcycle is designed for complexity. You create a structure that mirrors your organisation — plants, business units, countries — and each site tracks its own energy consumption, fuel usage, production volumes, waste and water data. The platform applies location-specific emission factors (electricity grid mixes vary by country), consolidates everything upward, and lets you report at any level: per site, per division, or at group level. Full traceability means you can drill down from a corporate number to the individual invoice that generated it.
What about manufacturers with complex supply chains?
Most manufacturers have hundreds or thousands of suppliers, from raw material providers to outsourced process partners. Dcycle's supplier engagement portal sends structured data requests, provides guided templates for different material categories, and validates responses against recognised emission factor databases. You get a real-time dashboard showing which suppliers have responded, where data quality is strong, and where gaps need attention. This turns Scope 3 from an estimate into a measured, auditable number.
Can Dcycle calculate emissions per product?
Yes. Dcycle performs product-level Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) aligned with ISO 14040/14044. You can assess the environmental impact of individual products from cradle to gate — covering raw materials, manufacturing processes, energy consumption and waste. This is increasingly required for Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), for responding to client sustainability questionnaires, and for substantiating any environmental claims under the EU Green Claims Directive.
Why do manufacturers like SARIA, DOGA and LedsC4 choose Dcycle?
They came because they had a deadline they couldn't meet with spreadsheets — a client demanding Scope 3 data, a CSRD reporting obligation, an EcoVadis assessment, or an ISO certification audit. What they found was a platform that consolidates production data, energy consumption, supply chain emissions and regulatory reporting into one system. The time reduction was dramatic: what took months of manual data gathering now flows continuously from existing operational systems into verified, audit-ready reports.
